About Zodiac Calculators

Simple, free calculators for astrology and numerology, built to be fast, accurate and private.

What this site does

Zodiac Calculators lets you look up things such as your Venus sign, your Chiron, Juno, Lilith and North Node signs, the dates of your Saturn return and your numerology numbers. Each calculator takes a date and gives you a result in a few seconds, with a plain explanation of what it means.

How the positions are calculated

Planet positions are computed in your browser with Astronomy Engine, an open-source library by Don Cross released under the MIT licence. Positions are geocentric and apparent, measured on the tropical zodiac. Before launch we compared Venus and Saturn at several dates with NASA JPL's DE440 ephemeris, and they agreed to within about 0.01 degrees.

Chiron, Juno and the true lunar node use daily position tables built from orbit data published by NASA/JPL Horizons and the DE440 ephemeris, with positions in between found by interpolation (error under 0.01 degrees). The mean node and mean Black Moon Lilith use the standard formulas from Jean Meeus, Astronomical Algorithms. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by NASA or JPL. Tables cover 1900 to 2099.

What the site cannot tell you

The astronomy is a calculation. The meanings are not. Astrology and numerology are traditions of interpretation and have no scientific support, so nothing here is a prediction or a replacement for medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. We write the interpretation text to be useful for reflection, and we try not to overstate it.
